Rubber Seam Tape

DESCRIPTION:

PROFLEX™ RST (Rubber Seam Tape) is a 28 mil tape for seaming PROFLEX™ umderlayment membranes. PROFLEX™ RST consists of a rubberized membrane laminated to a high-strength, reinforcing Mylar film on the face and a siliconized release sheet on the adhesive side. When used with PROFLEX™ membranes, PROFLEX™ RST will form a seamless, monolithic, sheet over the substrate.

TYPICAL USES:

PROFLEX™ RST is a specially designed companion product to be used under all PROFLEX™ membranes. When used with PROFLEX™ membranes, PROFLEX™ RST will create a monolithic, seamless, barrier resistant to the transmission of moisture vapor from a substrate. Other applications may be suitable, contact technical support for further information. To eliminate vapor, cracks, or water intrusion in or below the finished floor work, the product combination should be applied to the entire substrate prior to the installation of the finished flooring.
