Proflex  SULFAMIC ACID CLEANER

DESCRIPTION:


Proflex SULFAMIC ACID CLEANER is a concentrated crystalline form of sulfamic acid for use in a water solution to remove cement smears, excess grout, efflorescence, and other mineral deposits.

RECOMMENDED USE:


For glazed ceramic tile, unglazed quarry tile, unpolished natural stone, brick & masonry surfaces not harmed by mild acid solutions, polished marble, terrazzo, colored cement tiles. Sulfamic Acid Crystals may be used to etch smooth concrete in preparation for clear coat applications.

APPLICATION:


ALWAYS TEST A SMALL AREA AND WAIT 24 HOURS TO DETERMINE PROPER DILUTION FOR DESIRED RESULTS. MIXING AND DILUTION: ALWAYS ADD ACID TO WATER, NEVER WATER TO ACID
For heavy duty cleaning and Etching applications, mix 12oz crystals to 1 gallon water. For installations with gray grout, Mix 8-10 oz crystals to 1 gallon water. For Efflorescence removal, mix 3-4 oz of crystals to 1 gallon water.
Always work in small areas, apply solution with a clean sponge or mop and allow it to stand for 2mins. Keep area treated wet at all times. Scrub treated area with a nylon brush to loosen dirt, soiling or cement haze. Double rinse the area with clean water. Allow the floor to completely dry prior to application of sealer products.
